Global Water Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: GWRS), (TSX: GWR), a pureplay water resource management company, received Cityworks’s 2022 Excellence in Departmental Practice Award at Cityworks Innovate Conference held in December, 2022 in Salt Lake City.  The award was presented by Cityworks, a provider of the leading geographic information system (GIS) centric solution for public asset management.  The award highlights how Global Water demonstrated leadership and creativity in applying public asset management strategies to daily operations and longterm planning. 

 Global Water Resources, Inc. (GWR) and Global Water - Santa Cruz Water Company, Inc. (Santa Cruz),  has been recognized by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), in the Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program, Bronze Level.  Bronze Level recognizes companies that demonstrate strong environmental compliance for the past three years.  ADEQ recongized Santa Cruz as a company that has clearly demonstrated environmental excellence and leadership in providing customers with safe drinking water. 

 Global Water Resources, Inc. (GWR),  has received national recognition as a ‘Utility of the Future Today’ for its superior water reuse approach by a national consortium of water and conservation organizations led by the Water Environment Federation (WEF).  Global Water has been recognized for its transformational work in community engagement, watershed stewardship, and recovery of resources, including water, energy, and nutrients. The recognition celebrates the achievements of water utilities that transform from the traditional wastewater treatment system to a resource recovery center and leader in the overall sustainability and resilience of the communities they serve.  

 Global Water Resources, Inc. (GWR),  received an Award of Distinction in Arizona Forward's 38th Annual Environmental Excellence Awards in the category of industrial and public works. The entries in this year’s Arizona Forward Environmental Excellence Awards presented by SRP are a tribute to individuals and organizations that embrace the many facets of sustainability as they look for ways to improve their communities. The finalists reflect a diverse array of projects, including efforts to more effectively steward water resources, improve transit and community health, and engage the public in sustainability efforts.
