Global Water Resources, Inc. is a water resource management company that owns, operates and manages water, wastewater and recycled water utilities in strategically located communities, principally in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. We seek to deploy our integrated approach, which we refer to as “Total Water Management,” a term we use to mean managing the entire water cycle by owning and operating the water, wastewater and recycled water utilities within the same geographic areas in order to both conserve water and maximize its total economic and social value. We use Total Water Management to promote sustainable communities in areas where we expect growth to outpace the existing potable water supply. Our model focuses on the broad issues of water supply and scarcity and applies principles of water conservation through water reclamation and reuse. Our basic premise is that the world’s water supply is limited and yet can be stretched significantly through effective planning, the use of recycled water and by providing individuals and communities resources that promote wise water usage practices.

We currently own twelve water and wastewater utilities in strategically targeted communities principally in metropolitan Phoenix. As of December 31, 2020, we have 49,158 active service connections.  Our regionally planned service areas are large enough to ultimately serve hundreds of thousands of  service connections.

Global Water owns and operates regulated water and wastewater utilities and is one of the world’s leading innovators in Total Water Management. These beliefs have been integrated into the deployment of over $300 million in capital projects to acquire, build, and support our utilities in the past 15 years, and the development of a sector leading information technology (IT) platform. This IT platform optimizes utility operations by finding and managing efficiencies, increasing the level of customer service, and eliminating unnecessary expenses. Instant access to information provides management the ability to make timely decisions and reduce recurring costs (power, consumables, and labor) of utility operations. This same commitment to efficiencies has been applied to our customer service and billing platforms. These customer service, billing, and IT platforms were constructed to be infinitely scalable.
